Wow!

The move went great!

I got here New Year's Eve, and was greeted by a hug from Patrick. Came back to my new home, didn't unpack or anything, just went straight to the beach of Tamarindo. My home is about a 10 minute walk to the beach, a very dusty, rocky 10 minute walk to the beach. The roads are all dirt, except for some of the roads, which have been sprayed with tar. The tar paved roads are very bumpy and rough. Its great though, its just simple. I love it! So we went surfing, then to dinner, and off to bed by 8 pm. It was lovely.

New Year's Day we went to a beach called Playa Grande, just north of Tamarindo. Its beautiful, great surf, but it can get a bit crowded. Already I am bright red!

Today I walked about a mile and a half south to a great little surf spot. Walking over lava rocks, beautiful shells, coconuts, and trees growing feet from the ocean.

Its all very surreal. Surreal because I'm not with Patrick, surreal because of the beautiful scenery, and the kind people, surreal because this is now my home. Like in my first blog, I'm now happy in a place that I am happy with my special someone and it is an amazing feeling!
